Description

Empire City Casino has over 5,000 slot machines and electronic games. Yet, many New Yorkers don’t even know it’s in their own backyard. So, we created a new character, named Barry. Barry is a real gamer who moved to Las Vegas, only to find out that Empire City Casino is right here in New York. Now Barry had to get rid of a bunch of stuff he bought for his new desert home.

We created a series of six radio commercials telling Barry’s story and describing the items up for sale. Scorpion traps. Coyote repellent. All kinds of oddball things. Listeners were encouraged to visit Barry’s facebook page and a Youtube account, where he could promote his stuff.The postings also contained a link to eBay, where his facebook friends could actually go to bid on the items.
